Nessie, the short form for the Loch Ness Monster, the mysterious sea creature that lurks in the depths of a Scottish lake that has been around for decades.
Even till today, many still debate over its existence. It has been the topic of many conspiracy theories, movies, and books. Recently, the loch ness has once again become the topic of discussion as a new picture of it has resurfaced on the net, causing much controversy.
An Australian couple, Peter Jackson and Phillippa Wearne, were driving along the famed Lake when they spotted something odd in the water. Unbelievingly, but still deciding to check the lake out anyway, they got out of their car and quickly snapped photos of the anomaly. According to Wearne, the anomaly was very large and swimming at very fast speeds. It was swimming along with the current, which helped to propel it forward faster.
The couple was amazed at what they found and were eager to get answers. They showed the pictures to other visitors at the bed and breakfast they were staying at, and no one had answers to give them. They even showed the pictures to other visitors onboard the cruise on the loch, and no one had substantial answers.
Unknown to many, there is a Loch Ness Sighting Registry, which Gary Campbell helms. He has said that this picture the couple took is 1 out of another that has been accepted into the registry this year. It seems that many photos have been collected, but even now, nobody can make an intelligent guess about what the loch monster really is. Is it extraterrestrial? Is it a “deep-sea” monster that has not been discovered yet? Many questions remain, and I hope that one day, we will find concrete answers in this long-standing mystery.
